I don't regret purchasing heavenly sword, as a matter of fact, i'm glad i didn't listen to what the reviewers said and made up my own mind about the game. Just for the Record, i purchased HS on thursday and didn't beat it 'til tuesday. I played it everyday. and it remains one of the best games i've ever played.
far fewer framerate drops does not equal ZERO frame rate drops, which means the 360 version still has frame rate drops coupled with the graphics issues.
neither version is perfect, live with it.
If i were to go by what metacritic says, i never would've bought Heavenly Sword or Folklore. both games in the 70s.

I'm sorry. I have an HDTV, and DVD just doesn't cut for me any more.
The quality difference between standard DVD and HD-DVD/BD is just too much for me. I have over 200 DVDs and i'm slowly going to start replacing them with the HD version.
DVD is fine for standard TVs, but as more people upgrade to HDTV, we'll need a definite HD format. I would prefer it if it were BD, but if HD-DVD happens to win, then it's still a step in the right direction.
i don't know why POG attacked me. I was giving props to the HD-DVD camp, but at the same time i'm trying to keep it real.
Spider-man 3 might've been a let down to some(story wise), but it delivered in the Audio/Visual dept. the fact remains that it's a HUGE seller, and if you don't think this will be a home theater reference standard title then you are sadly mistaken.

the question is, just how good is the MP here? The darkness offered fun single player but the MP was just plain bad! this game might be worthy of a rental. I can't see myself putting alot of time into the MP for this game when i could be playing Gears, warhawk, COD4,HALO3, HAZE, Resistance, Team Fortress, ETC..
Even as a standard DVD player, the ps3 rocks! the video quality is the best out of any standard dvd i've tested.
wangdiddy82: you forgot Tekken 5 online. That game is a blast to play online, even though i get my a$$ handed to me most the time. it's still a lot of fun to play.

Me personally, i'm not happy having to pay 50.00 in order to play online since i can do the same for free with my ps3, but the service is good so i will renew my membership when it's up.

that's my opinion.
trying to do shoryuken and hadouken with 360 dpad is painful. depending on the price i might get it for both systems so i can play with all my friends. if it's too expensinve then i'll stick with the PS3 version.

granted, folklore is not a 10 by any means, but a solid 8.5 seems fair for such an interesting/unique game. but to each their own.
